The Rotary Club of Leesburg VA is a part of the global network of 1.2 million Rotarians, who are devoted to providing service to others and promoting integrity, global understanding, goodwill, and peace. This club is open to people of all cultures and ethnicities and is not affiliated with any political or religious organization. Recently, the Rotary clubs of Panama Norte and Westchester (Los Angeles) collaborated on a global grant with the aim of bridging the digital divide in Panama. The project provided each school with 30 laptops for students, an interactive whiteboard and other technologies, as well as training for local teachers.
The food sorting equipment emptied 6 of the existing containers. Rotary clubs are active in Belize, the United States, Canada, India, and the United Kingdom. Through their work, they strive to make a positive impact on their local communities and beyond. Rotary International is committed to helping people in need around the world.
